This is my third visit to the site. Initially you think this is just to make friends lol and I've been bullied into it by my friends who were scared that I'd turn into a couch potato because I just refused to date locally.
On this site I've been hurt, insulted and disappointed, but on the other hand I made the most wonderful, interesting and lifelong friends. Why did I return after my disappointment? If I hadn't it would always be a failure in my life. I wanted to feel that I overcame the obstacle and can still hold my head high, because I was the victim - not the offender. The management of this site immediately reacted, followed up and removed the guy's profile. That just re-insured me that I was at the right place. Here the management staff really protected it's members.
Then it just happened - I met the most wonderful man. Someone completely different from anyone I've met in my whole life.
I've been through a marriage of abuse for 17 years and due to the scar tissues I became terminally ill. It took a lot of courage to trust someone again, but the Lord gave me this real Hollywood fairytale ending which have all our friends in tears. I made a choice to stand up and face life head on. No we are not engaged or married, but we've shared amazing times and know we're going to be together for always. It is a relationship based on faith and so much respect and I don't know how to thank you.
There are so many single ladies on this site who's been hurt terribly and I know what you go through. Being a motivational speaker and public performer I was in a position where I could also help a lot of guys just get back their self respect and start over.
Your site gave me the courage to stand up and reach out again. Yes I had to make the choices, but you helped me and supported me and I am so truly thankful.
To the ladies and guys out there waiting for the right person to come along - never ever give up hope. The Lord have your special partner all wrapped up - just be careful that you're so particular that you miss the opportunity just because he/she is not wrapped in the package you ordered.
